Finnley's Treasure

About two years ago I started collecting Japanese woodblock prints. My focus has been prints by Japanese masters that were made during their lifetime and I really enjoy this because I can own a little piece of history all on my own. It really is the same thing that is up in the museum, but I can run my hand over it and feel the ridges of the page, I can feel the folds where the US Soldier in WWII creased the pages and bound them into a book so he could carry the prints and keep a little piece of joy with him.

Because of this interest, I started researching the methods and began doing it myself! So here is what I would consider my second successful set of carved blocks and a print off them. I know it's not perfect, but I'm still figuring this whole thing out!
